Announcements will be reviewed and edited, if necessary, before being posted on
the Website. To post a professional announcement
In order
to facilitate the review and posting of Professional Announcements, please adhere
as close as possible to the following guidelines:
1. Be informative, but be
brief (one paragraph-six sentences maximum).
2. Provide the following information,
as appropriate:
(a) Name and location of organization
(b) Name and title
of individual being honored and reason (e. g. promotion, new hire, volunteerism,
employee of the month, product development etc.)
(c) Website, Email address
& Telephone number
(d) Name of contact or person submitting the announcement
(e) A laudatory statement or comment about the individual or organization that
you will like the public to know.
3. The text of the announcement should be
written in Microsoft Word.
4. For announcements with pictures or graphics,
please provide them in electronic format, if possible. Identify the honoree and
other notable individuals in the picture, as appropriate.
